The latest project for Custom Concepts owner Rob Fagundes and crew is this 1966 Chevelle convertible. This car started life powered by a 327 small block with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Rob and his team started by removing the drivetrain and lifting the body off the chassis. Next, the body was stripped and blasted to bare metal to identify and correct the problem areas which were expertly repaired or replaced; at the same time, the chassis was stripped and primered before parts from Air Ride Technologies and McGaughys were added along with some custom plumbing and motor mounts for an LS engine conversion. When completed this car will feature an incredible custom interior, wild paint scheme, and a stout GM LS powered drivetrain. Stay tuned for updates as this project moves forward.
