This beautiful `56 F100 is another stunning example of how a Custom Concepts makeover can turn a tired mundane look in to a completely new, show-stopping ride with some well thought-out changes and upgrades.  This 1956 F100 has been a great driver for it’s owner for many years, but with it’s dated paint job and some much needed bodywork issues, the owner turned to the staff at Custom Concepts for a fresh new look.  After a careful disassembly, the sheetmetal was completely stripped bare before being carefully massaged with the problem areas repaired or replaced.  Next, after some ideas were presented, the owner decided on the bright metallic blue PPG paint and cool custom graphics.  The results speak for themselves, with it’s striking new look this truck turns heads wherever it goes now.  This big window `56 rides on a Walton chassis featuring IFS, 4-wheel disc brakes, a 9” Ford rearend with a 4-link, and Billet Specialties 17” front and 18” rear wheels.  The truck is powered by a blown 468 cubic inch big block Chevy with a Turbo 400 transmission.  There is a long list of custom touches throughout, including a custom fabricated fan shroud incorporating a Ford 2-speed fan motor, a one-off water pump, and a complete custom wiring harness and fuse panel all from Air Tech Automotive in Fresno.  The exhaust features a custom set of headers hand built by Kent Performance Center, while a Craig Renn stitched ostrich and leather interior rounds out the package.
